May 15, 2023 — Anthropocene Institute Chief Scientist Dr. Frank Ling was one of 15 participants on the Expert Advisory Panel for the 2023 Earthshot Prize. The Expert Advisory Panel comprises a diverse group of individuals from around the world who bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to help judge applications and drive the impact of the Earthshot Prize.

Incubated within The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales and launched by Prince William in 2020, The Earthshot Prize searches for extraordinary solutions to the world’s greatest environmental challenges. In July 2022, The Earthshot Prize was formally established as an independent charity to continue to deliver global change.

Expert Advisory panelists are selected for their ability to identify the most impactful solutions across one of five Earthshot categories. Each year, winners with the best chance of helping to achieve Earthshots receive £1M each and tailored support to help scale their groundbreaking solutions.

The awards ceremony will take place later this year in Singapore.
